Chesapeake Energy (CHK) reported that the Thurman Horn 406H well drilled into the Hogshooter Wash produced an average of 7,350 barrels of oil equivalent (BOE) per day during the first eight days of production.
The production was composed of 5,400 barrels of oil, 1,200 barrels of natural gas liquids and 4.6 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Chesapeake Energy said that the Thurman Horn 406H well is currently producing 7,000 BOE per day from the Hogshooter Wash.
Chesapeake Energy has 30,000 net acres prospective for the Hogshooter Wash, which is present above the company’s Granite Wash acreage.
